Today, St. Patrick’s Day, is meant to celebrate Irish heritage, but it has also been adopted by many Americans as a day to wear green, eat corned beef, speak in a brogue, decorate with shamrocks and leprechauns, and for many, it’s simply a reason to drink.
It is a favored tradition to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with beer, lots of beer and then some more beer, maybe even green beer. And it is for that reason that we encourage you to act responsibly and not drink and drive. We want everyone to not only have a good time but to live to tell the tale the next day.
Whatever you choose to do this St. Patrick’s Day, please be smart. Don’t rely on the luck of the Irish to keep you safe as you celebrate.
Designate a sober driver well before you begin to chat with the leprechaun standing next to you.
