The Valdosta Daily Times
The Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual luncheon on Tuesday, and even though the Chamber has been holding these membership meetings for about 100 years or so, this one will be an important one for the organization.
The long-awaited results of the multi-million dollar five-year 2012 initiative campaign will be revealed.
On its website, the Chamber is touting the presentation as “Real Numbers, Real Stories,” and the report will address job creation, education initiatives, membership growth, employment figures, new industry growth, legislative initiatives, and much more that the organization has been concentrating all its time, efforts and resources on for the last five years.
Kudos to the Chamber and its many supporters who have helped bring the goals set for 2012 to fruition, and the members will also be anticipating what the next great initiative will bring.
If you haven’t made your reservations, contact the Chamber at (229) 247-8100.
