The Valdosta Daily Times
Way to go Saxby! Give the "city of Remerton" money so they can buy more police cars (like they don't have enough already) so their “illegal revenue collectors” can write more tickets on Baytree and Melody Lane. When is someone going to step in for the city of Valdosta residents? We sure don't seem to have anyone that cares now.
A big thank you to all the VSU football players, cheerleaders, coaches, band members, volunteers, and State Farm for putting on another wonderful mini-camp for the youth of our community.
We're confused. Recycle! I have done it for years, making trips to county recycling. Milo told us recycling would begin July 2001, so we subscribed, never happened. A call informed us the commissioners still had not decided when to start recycling, but now a grant was given for special events recycling? Are residential taxpayers less important? We live within the 45-mile radius, along with thousands of homeowners. Why do all our recyclables continue to clog the landfill? Come on! Get it right!
I don't own a pit bull but feel bad for the owners in Homerville if they ban them. Why can't they have them registered and the city have an animal behavior expert evaluate them? Don't any of these people on the city council watch Animal Planet?
I read in The Valdosta Daily Times that a Georgia horse car tag will be available soon. How about a TitleTown tag?
How is it that our president can berate Russia for invading another sovereign nation when that is exactly what we have done?
A big rave to Learning In Retirement for manning the welcoming table at the Senior Living Showcase. Thanks to everyone for a successful day.
Amy Carter did a good thing in instructing women to have the armed knowledge to protect themselves. I only hope this means they are truly armed as in .32, .38, .45, etc.
