Rant & Rave for Thursday, May 15, 2008

The Valdosta Daily Times

It's mighty odd all of a sudden every restaurant has an A almost.

Let’s see. So I am going to pay the county $2 to dispose of one bag of household garbage and I am going to spend my time sorting recyclables for them to make a profit? Like that’s going to happen.

With gas prices so high, why are people who live outside of the county allowed to drive the school buses home twice a day and keep the buses over the weekend?

Please don’t be like the city and forget about your crossing guards. They are protecting your children. A little thank you at the end of the year would let them know you appreciate them.

I watched two so-called homeless people leave their corner where I see them at least twice a week get into two up-to-date vehicles and drive off. That’s why I don’t give.

Wow! I missed the part that says your college degree makes you more of a person than me. The ironic part is that I would never devalue a person like you have. Guess they don't teach that in college, huh?

It is a shame and disgrace that Keller Wilcox is released from prison for killing Hellen Griffin Hanks. He deserves the same treatment himself for what he did to her. Money talks and Keller Wilcox walks.

I have heard it all now. Someone wants employers to teach their employees not to touch the top of their drink. Get real. Do you think that those employees are the only ones who touched that drink? Anyone with common sense knows to take a napkin and wipe the thing before they put it to their mouth. Evidently you aren't worried about the insects that crawled on it either in the store or bottling plant?
