James H. Rackley

VALDOSTA — James H. Rackley, 93, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Langdale Hospice House after a brief illness. He was born on April 25, 1919 near Ty Ty, Ga. to the late Edna Whitfield and Charles Harrison Rackley.

As the spiritual leader of his family he loved serving the Lord and was an active member of Greenwood Baptist Church where he was a deacon.

His family was the joy of his life. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 65 years, Irene Corbett Rackley. His love for his family was evident to all who knew him.
