Frankie Cook, 99, of Nashville, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at the Berrien Nursing Center.
She was born July 13, 1914, in Clinch County to the late Jack D. Corbitt and the late Georgiann Guest. She was a homemaker and a member of Cross Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eulis Jackson “Dood” Cook; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Jack and Avy Cook; and son-in-law, John Albert Griner.
She is survived by a daughter, Helen Griner of Nashville; two granddaughters, Peggy Jo (David) Keys and Pam Griner; four great-grandchildren, Beth (Brandon) Yeomouns, Heath Wilson, Rachael Wilson, and Kate Wilson; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at 11 a.m. in Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Watson and the Rev. Mark Swain officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. — Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville
