Mr. Horace Miley, 65, of Sparks passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Miley was born Jan. 12, 1948, to the late Doc and Viola Baker Miley. He was the owner of Horace Miley Heating and Air and loved to fish and play cards.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Juanita Miley of Sparks; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Horace Anthony and Donna Miley of Cool Springs, Terry Lee Miley of Sparks, and Carlton Dewayne Miley of Sparks; one daughter and son-in-law, Tonia Lynn and Roger Fraley of Adel; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Gail Miley of Enigma, Charlie Miley of Valdosta, John and Jean Miley of Valdosta, David and Brinda Miley of Tifton, and Larry Miley of Nashville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dot Orr of Nashville and Doris and Roger Morgan of Adel; five grandchildren, Justin Miley, Levi Miley, Bella Rose Miley, Matthew Alexander Smith, and Austin Cole Smith; one great-grandchild, Daelyn Benka; two brothers-in-law, Jimmy Lightsey of Sparks and Leighton Greene of Tifton; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Miley was preceded in death by his parents, B. H. “Doc” and Viola Miley; and four sisters, Josephine Chafin, Pauline Greene, Beverly Ann Clements and Margie Lightsey.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 4 p.m. at the Lenox Church of God with the Rev. Mithcell Clements and the Rev. Brad McVae officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one prior to service. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex.
