Mary Francis Paulk Gay, 65, of Albany, and formerly of Moultrie, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Graveside rites will be 2 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013, in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens in Moultrie with the Rev. Jerry Deans officiating.
Born Nov. 3, 1947, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Hiram Paulk and Myrtle Jarvis Paulk. She was a former Department Manager with Walmart and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Her family and friends will remember her as a loving mother, grandmother and avid flower gardener.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James Paulk, Frank “Junior” Paulk and Tommy Paulk.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Hiram “Dickie” Gay of Albany; three daughters, Sharon Louise Clark of Sylvester, Tina Lorene Lathrop and husband Edwin of LaGrange and Glenda Berard and husband Tiger of Valdosta; eight grandchildren, Nicholas “Nick” Babineaux, Luke Roland, Alexis Roland, Mackenzie Roland, Lee Roland, Brogen Berard, Brandy Gay, Abigail Lathrop; one sister, Wanda Paulk Howard and husband Ricky of Albany.
The family will greet friends immediately following the graveside service on Thursday at the cemetery.
