-- — Mr. James “Pete” Lennon Jordan, 71, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 in the South Georgia Medical Center, following a brief  illness.

Mr. Jordan was born April 1, 1942 in Homerville, to Lucy Bell Smith Jordan, Homerville and the late Lige Jordan. He was retired from B-way Corp. with 42 years of service as a Supervisor on the Ammo Line.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Dick Jordan.  

Survivors other than his mother are his wife: Jane Ann Morgan Jordan, Homerville; four sisters: Carlene Johnson, Lakeland, Sammie Joyce Griffin, and Glenda Jordan, both of Argyle and Hilda Faye Mathis, Ray City; one brother: Gerald Jordan, Waycross; and a  number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. Jordan will be held Monday, March 3, 2014 at 2 p.m. from the Shiloh Southern Congregational Methodist Church.

Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6 til 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
