Vivian Louise Mitchell

-- — Vivian Louise Mitchell was born on Sept. 23, 1949 to the late Robert, “Bob” Mitchell and Louise Mathis Mitchell in Valdosta. She was educated in the Valdosta City Schools system. Vivian accepted the Lord as  her personal Savior at Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully as an usher.

Vivian was preceded in death by both of her parents, Bob and Louise Mitchell and two sisters, Mollie Mathis Wallace and Doretha Mathis Nelson. She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Irene Hamilton.

Sheer courage is what was shown as Vivian endured her last days. Surrounded by her family, Vivian peacefully passed away, on Monday, April 15, 2013 at her residence.
