Glenn Hufstetler, 61 of Lakeland, Ga., passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Langdale Hospice House after a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 27, 1952, in Albany, Ga., to his father, the late Harry Lee Hufstetler, and his mother, the late Dorothy Lee Johnson Hufstetler. Mr. Hufstetler was proud to be a farmer. In addition to his parents, Glenn is predeceased by a brother, Curtis Hufstetler; a brother-in-law, Jackie Croft; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Myrtice and Irie Courson.
Survivors Include his wife of 41 years, Linda Hufstetler of Lakeland, Ga.; son, Michael Hufstetler, Lakeland; daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Chuck Jones, Lakeland; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Mable Hufstetler, Lakeland; sister, Juanita Griffin, Lakeland; sister, Kathy Eaton, Lakeland; sister and brother-in-law, Juanice and Mike Whitley, San Francisco, Calif.; grandchildren, Chelsea Jones, Kendell Hufstetler, Linsee Jones, Jake Jones; special nieces and nephews, Chad Mathis, Kayla Leath, Loretta Croft; life-long friend, Wayne Sontag.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services, Lakeland, Ga., with burial to follow at Burnt Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 – 2 p.m. prior to the service.
