Riley Benjamin “Benny” Hopper lll, 54, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Gentiva Hospice of Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. after a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 26, 1959 to the late Riley Benjamin Jr. and Mary Ileane Whitfield Hooper in Miami, Fla. He loved a Nascar race, football games and a little wrestling. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
Survivors Include his wife, Carolyn Weeks Thomas Hooper of Lakeland, Ga.; daughter, Cayla Hooper, Adel; step son and step daughter-in-law, Zack and Melissa Thomas, Nashville, Ga.; step daughter and step son-in-law, Erika Thomas and Mariano, Nashville, Ga.; brother, Dennis Hooper, Mt. Vernon, sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Mike Willis, Monticello, Fla.; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Howard Marx, Monticello, Fla.; two grandchildren, Levi Thomas and Elliana Thomas; special friends, Lonnie and Sherrie Roberts, Sparks, Ga.; special friends, Quinton and Ellen Miller, Sparks, Ga.; a number of nieces and nephews.
