Otha Charles Lee, 85, of Alapaha, died Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at South Georgia Medical Center.
He was born July 3, 1928, in Irwin County to the late Richard Lee and the late Nina Davis. He was a retired foreman with Moore Lumber Company, a member of Alapaha Baptist Church, and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Marion Lee, who died in 2001; son, James Edward “Red” Plair; a brother and two sisters.
He is survived by two daughters, LaDonna Shackleford of Adel and Wilma Flowers of Nashville; two brothers, Kenneth (Oveida) Lee of Alapaha and Bill (Barbara) Lee of Alapaha; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held today, Nov. 20, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Kicklighter officiating. Interment will be in Beaver Dam Cemetery. — Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville
