Anngray Kendall Noblett, of Beauford, Ga., passed away Dec. 31, 2013.
She was born in Minneapolis, Minn., on 29 June, 1935, to Ethel and Ned Kendall. Ann grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, graduating from Roosevelt High School. Ann attended Iowa State University and completed her degree in Mathematics at Texas Western University after marrying Phillip A. Noblett. They moved to California, started a family, and in 1967 returned to Iowa.
Ann taught mathematics at Iowa State, Center Point Consolidated High School, and Valdosta State University. She provided projectory mathematics for the first orbital space flight while working at White Sands Proving Grounds. Ann was also a lifelong member of P.E.O. and an active member of Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church and Newborns in Need.
Ann is survived by son, Phillip and Tara Noblett of Loganville, Ga.; and daughters, Beth Gawthrop of Suwannee, Ga.; and Jennifer Seals of Raeford, N.C. and husband Bob; brother, Ned Kendall and his wife Lynn of Naples, Fla.; grandchildren, Erin, Pete, Jamie, Robert, Riley and Alex; nieces Laura, Julie, Susan; and nephew Ned.
A memorial service was held at Hamilton Mill Methodist Church in Dacula, Ga. Jan. 12, 2013 at Noon. Interment will be held in the Granby Cemetery in Granby, Conn, July 8, 2013.
