DUNWOODY

Louise ‘Topsy’ Wisenbaker Norvell

Louise ‘Topsy’ Wisenbaker Norvell, 79, died Sunday, June 25, 2006 at her family home in Dunwoody. Death caused by heart and lung disorders and complications from multiple sclerosis.

She is the daughter of the late Inous Smith Wisenbaker and Clyde Dasher Wisenbaker, born in Valdosta, Ga. and grew up on the family farm in Dasher, Ga.

Topsy was a loving committed homemaker and devoted wife to her husband, Ray C. Norvell, Sr. for 58 years.

Everybody loves Topsy. She with her husband were devout members of the North Atlanta Church of Christ where they worshipped regularly. As members of the “Seniors Alive” bible class, Topsy actively participated expressing with confidence her God given knowledge of the scriptures blessing her with soul salvation and a home in heaven with God for eternity.

She is survived by her husband, Ray C. Norvell, Sr.; four children; daughters Judy Grogan, Canton, Ga., Barbara Lyn Norvell, Sandy Springs, Ga. and Melanie Marie Norvell, Cumming, Ga.; one son, Ray Norvell, Jr., Sandy Springs, Ga.; granddaughters, Heidi Grogan Etris and Amie Grogan Etris of Canton, Ga.; great-grandchildren who love her dearly are Conner Etris, Seth Etris, Anna Mae Etris and Owen Etris.

She is also survived by her brother, Reginald Wisenbaker, Valdosta, and two sisters, Kay W. Parker, Rome, Ga. and Gail W. Hunter of Dasher, Ga.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2006 at North Atlanta Church of Christ, 5676 Roberts Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30338.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the National MS Society, Georgia Chapter, 455 Ablernathy Road, N.E., Ste. 210, Atlanta, GA 30328.— Wages & Son Funeral Home, Stone Mountain, Ga.





QUITMAN

Tommie Sapp

Tommie Sapp, 92, of Quitman passed away Monday, June 26, 2006 at the Presbyterian Home after a lengthy illness.

Born in Madison, Fla., he was the son of Thomas W. and Nonie Gandy Sapp. He was a farmer and member of the Baptist faith.
