ADEL

Angela Fay Williams Holtzclaw

Angela Fay Williams Holtzclaw, 31, of Adel, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at the Langdale Hospice House after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Valdosta on May 10, 1976, and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Holtzclaw was a member of the Hahira First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Todd Holtzclaw of Adel; three daughters, Ansley Copeland, Brittany Copeland and Taylor Copeland, all of Hahira; father of her daughters, Max Copeland of Hahira; stepson, Nicholas Holtzclaw of Indianapolis, Ind.; her parents, Fay and Pam Williams of Valdosta; sister and brother-in-law, Leslie and Tony Durgin of Hahira; nephew, Hunter Durgin of Hahira; niece, Chloe Durgin of Hahira; stepmother, Laura Williams of Valdosta; maternal grandparents, Grady and Wilma Stalvey of Hahira; parents-in-law, Lari Matis of Valdosta and Billy and Ann Holtzclaw of Homerville; two close friends, Shea Zeigler and Mandy Darling, both of Hahira; her former mother-in-law, Elaine Futch Hodges of Cecil; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, M. L. and Melba Williams; a cousin, Keith Williams; and an uncle, Scott Walker.

Funeral services will be held at 3p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at the Hahira First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Gordon and Rev. Skip Van Nus officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

ADEL

Eunice F. Little

Eunice F. Little, 89, of Adel, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at the Memorial Hospital of Adel.

Born Aug. 4, 1918, in Lanier County, she lived most of her life in Cook County. She was of the First Assembly of God faith and was retired owner and operator of Little’s Bait & Tackle.

She was the daughter of the late Olen Fender and the late Matilda Gaskins Fender. She was married to the late Howard Little.

She is survived by one daughter, Dewanne Early, Adel; grandson and wife, Audie and Rhonda Rowe, Adel; great-grandson, Jordan Rowe, Adel; stepgranddaughter, Lynn Gandy (Don), Sparks; two stepgrandchildren, Jana Elizabeth Gandy and R.J. Gandy, both of Sparks.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Katie Ann Rowe.
