VALDOSTA — Teachers and support staff will be given free admission to Wild Adventures Theme Park this weekend.

Friday through Monday, teachers and staff with valid school ID or school district pay stub with photo ID will be able to enter the park for free, according to park officials.

Family members and friends will be eligible to purchase discount tickets when accompanied by an educator.

“We wanted to do something extra special for our teachers as a way to show how much we appreciate the difference they make everyday in the lives of our children and in our communities,” Wild Adventures General Manager Molly Deese said in a press release. “We’re happy to offer this small gift to say thanks.”

Staff visiting the park during the weekend can enter to win $200 in school supplies with a winner being randomly selected Aug. 5.
