During Monday’s work session, the Lowndes County Commissioners heard an appeal request from the county’s Board of Assessors Office. Recently, Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) in Clyattville was appraised by the Board of Equalization, and this board decreased the company’s property value by 15 percent, which equates to approximately $3.4 million, county officials state.
