LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla. — A Hahira woman perished when the driver of a southbound pickup truck veered into her northbound lane and struck her car head on at around 5 p.m. Sunday on State Road 12, according to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol.

The 2005 GMC pickup truck traveled out of the southbound lane across the broken centerline into the northbound lane and collided with the front of the woman's 2009 Hyundai Elantra in the northbound lane of State Road 12.
