Volunteer of the Year Awards 2014

VALDOSTA — Heritage Heathcare of Valdosta recently  held its Annual Volunteer Banquet  for 2014. Pastor Earline Marshall,  Cameron Armstrong, and  RiverHill Missionary Baptist Church were honored  for their appreciation and dedication during National Volunteer Week 2014.

Pastor Earline Marshall has been volunteering for Heritage Healthcare of Valdosta over 10 years. She provides bible study for the residents twice a week, donates items for parties, special events, socials,  and provides one to one visits with the residents and staff. She also purchase gifts for the residents and staff during holidays and throughout the year.

Cameron Armstrong was voted Teen Volunteer of the Year 2014. He provides one-to-one visits, gives out mail, helps with paperwork that is allowed, assists residents to and from activities, helps serve refreshments during parties, social  and special events, helps decorate for special events and holidays, sits with residents on the porch, answers the phone at the front desk, helps in other departments whenever needed as well.

RiverHill Missionary Baptist Church was voted Group Volunteer of the Year 2014. RiverHill Missionary Baptist Church provides church service twice a month and visit with residents individually to provide prayer, inspiration, motivation, and encouragement.

They were presented with  a plaque and certificate in their  respected division.
