$200K Pot Bust/Grow House discovered in Madison, Fla.

VALDOSTA — At around 5:30 Monday afternoon, Madison County Sheriff's Office received a domestic disturbance call to 781 NW Cattail Road.

According to the Sheriff's Office, a warrant was issued to search the premises as a result of the reported incident. While executing the warrant, officers reportedly found that the occupants were illegally stealing electricity to power an out building which housed 76 marijuana plants. Of those 76 plants, 28 of them were high quality and mature, the remaining 48 were smaller plants.

The operation in the out building was sophisticatedly designed to grow the marijuana in it's most pure state. In this state, the marijuana was estimated to have a street value of $200,000.00.

Multiple arrests are pending at this time. Charges include cultivation of marijuana and grand theft.
