It's never too early to begin planning for the future. With that idea in mind, Pinevale Elementary School hosted a career day to inform their students about the wide range of careers available to them.
Throughout the day on Feb. 28, students were able to learn about a wide variety of careers ranging from being in the FBI to making pizza. Some of the featured speakers including local entrepreneurs, martial arts experts, K-9 handlers, fitness experts and many others.
The students were able to ask the speakers questions and see if any of the careers sparked their interest. The guests that came and spoke also told the children about why they decided to go into that career.
Pinevale's career day was hosted in hopes that it would encourage students to pursue higher education so that they may become whatever they would like to be.
