Four arrested in meth traffic stop

VALDOSTA — A traffic stop led to the arrest of four suspects on methamphetamine charges Tuesday night, according to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday.

Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Division investigators stopped a vehicle Tuesday evening along Sermans Road near Lester Road, according to the sheriff’s office reports.

“During the course of the traffic stop, investigators performed a search of the vehicle and located approximately $1,800 worth of methamphetamine and a small quantity of marijuana from the occupants of the vehicle,” according to the sheriff’s office reports. “Investigators also located a quantity of Hydrocodone and Alprazolam, both Schedule III narcotics on one of the occupants.”

Investigators arrested four people as a result of the stop.

Johnny Keith Rambo, 53, of Valdosta is charged with possession of methamphetamine; Bonnie Marie Nix, 56, of Valdosta is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of Hydrocodone, possession of Alprazolam, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana; Danielle Parkinson, 36, of Valdosta is charged with possession of methamphetamine; George Howard Beckham Jr., 53, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, according to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspects were booked at the Lowndes County Jail.
