Police: 100-120 bottles of nail polish stolen

VALDOSTA — Shoplifters at a beauty supply store made off with the unusual haul of a large number of nail polish bottles, according to the Valdosta Police Department Friday.

At approximately 1 p.m. Thursday, two black females and a black male entered CosmoProf, a supply store for cosmetic professionals at 1809 Jerry Jones Drive, police reported.

The two women talked to an employee while the man walked around the store.

After about five minutes, all three left the store abruptly, said Lt. Aaron Kirk with the Valdosta Police Department.

The employees did not see the theft occur, but the three individuals were the only ones in the store.

After they left, employees noticed between 100 and 120 bottles of nail polish were missing, according to Kirk.

The bottles are valued at $1,920, reports stated.

Police continue investigating the incident.
