One remains at large

VALDOSTA — Jerrod Dujuane Brandon, 20, of Valdosta was arrested Wednesday in connection with the shootings in the Hudson Dockett housing area on Nov. 15. The incident left one dead and 10 wounded, including three juveniles.
Brandon was arrested for an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault, making false statements, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. All are felony charges.
According to Valdosta Police Capt. Bobbi McGraw, Brandon is in the custody of Lowndes County Jail. Investigators continue their search for the third suspect in the incident, Trumain Sidney Small, 39.
McGraw said that Small remains at large and is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Another suspect was arrested soon after the shootings for his involvement and remains in custody. Bernard Sanders, 24, was charged with felony murder.
In the incident which took place in the housing project on Sunday, Nov. 15, some 11 people were reportedly shot, including 19-year old Sidney Bivens, who succumbed to his injuries and passed away after being transported to South Georgia Medical Center.
Witnesses at the scene have maintained that an argument between some of the individuals may have been the catalyst for the mass shooting.
