The Georgia Department of Transportation has scheduled northbound and southbound lane closures from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Nov. 25, (no weekend lane closures) on State Route 133 near I-75. These left lane closures will be between south of I-75, near Twin Street, to north of I-75, near James Road.

Contractor crews will be reconstructing the SR 133 median for the new James Road entrance. Due to this work being done in median, motorists traveling north on SR 133 will not be allowed to turn left onto James Road during the scheduled times. This is a work zone and extreme caution is necessary.

Motorists are advised to reduce speeds as they travel through this construction work zone. Message signs, barrels and cones will be utilized to alert the public of the upcoming changes.

Drivers should be aware that personnel and equipment will be operating in close proximity to travel lanes.
