Homerville teen charged with selling crack

HOMERVILLE — An undercover operation by the South Georgia Drug Task Force led to the arrest of a Homerville man last week.

On Thursday, Oct. 29, task force agents and deputies with the Clinch County Sheriff’s Office arrested Marcus Grady, 18, on Reddick Street on charges of sale of crack cocaine and obstruction of an officer, according to a press release from the task force.

The suspect had been identified as a person who sold $40 in crack cocaine to an undercover task force agent, reports state. He also allegedly refused to give his name and date of birth to a law enforcement officer.

Anyone with drug-related information in Cook, Berrien, Clinch, Lanier or Echols counties is encouraged to contact the task force at (229) 482-3109 or e-mail sgadtf@windstream.net. Callers can remain anonymous.
