RAY CITY — A Berrien High School student has been reported missing. Berrien High School Principal Todd Bateman has confirmed that the missing student’s name is Lyndsey White of Ray City.

White’s disappearance is being investigated by the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Ray City Police Department.

The Times made several attempts to obtain additional information; however, calls made to the sheriff’s office and police department were not returned. A GBI spokesperson said that White’s disappearance is currently being investigated as a non-criminal issue and that the sheriff’s office is in charge of the case.

The Times was made aware of the situation in an email from a concerned citizen. The citizen asked that media organizations “interested in getting the word out to help us find her” call Bateman or the Ray City Police Department.

No other details were known at press time.
