Adel hospital to host Women’s Wellness Workshop

— The Memorial Hospital of Adel will celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month by hosting a Women’s Wellness Workshop from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.
There will be free breast exams, information booths, blood pressure screenings, cholesterol screenings, blood sugar screenings, physician lectures, and reduced-fee mammograms.
Flu shots will also be available for $25.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for women to be proactive in their health care,” stated Dr. Howard Sohnen of Pinnacle Women’s Health Center. “There are so many medical problems that can be detected early, or even prevented. We are pleased to offer total health care to the women of our community.”
