‘Night hunter’ arrested

FARGO

A Clinch County man enjoying a bit of night hunting was recently apprehended by agents and charged with a drug-related crime.

On Monday, agents with the South Georgia Drug Task Force, along with the Department of Natural Resources and Clinch County Sheriff’s Office, took James Graddy (1990) of Fargo, into custody, noted Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jamy Steinberg in a press release.

According to reports, Graddy was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was also issued a citation by the Department of Natural Resources for night hunting and shooting deer from the roadway, reports stated.

Around 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, agents with the South Georgia Drug Task Force, along with the Department of Natural Resources and the Echols County Sheriff’s Office, apprehended John Watkins Jr. (1972) of Echols County, Steinberg noted.

According to reports, Watkins was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

No other information was known at press time.
