Firefighters respond to fire at Bemiss strip mall

— Lowndes County Fire/Rescue responded to a fire in a strip mall at 4333 Bemiss Road around 1 p.m. Thursday. At least five units, housing four businesses, were damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
