Elks Lodge donates $5,000

— Bruce Hayden, left center, Exalted Ruler of Valdosta BPOE Elks Post 728, presents a check for $5,000 to Dan Phillips, Alzheimer’s Association of Lowndes County development director, during a brief ceremony at the Elks Lodge Wednesday. The money was raised by the Elks Lodge through a reverse draw, and is to benefit the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
