<font color="#CC0000"> Valdostan dies in wreck</font>

A Valdosta man died Friday night in a motorcycle accident, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
The accident took place at 9:15 p.m. on Coleman Road South, said Sgt. Carl Taylor of the state patrol, when a motorcycle rider lost control on a curve and hit a fence and fencepost, killing him on contact.
Killed was Rahman Shakil, 19, of Valdosta, Taylor said.
It is unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs were involved, Taylor said.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time but will be announced later by Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home of Quitman.
