Published May 18, 2009 10:20 pm - Ray City holds barbeque cook-off RAY CITY — More than a dozen teams tried their hands Saturday in this Berrien County town’s Barbecue Cook-Off and Car Show.
Judges tasted entries in five categories: Chicken, pork, Brunswick stew, open, and ribs. The public gathered to buy plates and taste these dishes. Organizers sold raffle tickets for a used car. Trophies and prizes were awarded to the winners of the barbecue contest.
