Music Fest to benefit Southside Rec Center



VALDOSTA — A Spring Music Fest is scheduled for Saturday to raise money for the Southside Recreation Center.

Entertainment is to include KingPen Entertainment, Black Squad, Mello Mac, BSU, Julius from MTV’s “Making the Band 4,” County Boyz, Young Go GeHaz.

Prizes are to include free hair cuts, gift certificates, African crafts, CDs, more.

Valdosta State University’s WVVS 90.0 and VSU’s IT plan to install computers for youths to use at the Southside Recreation Center, says organizer Michelle Reynolds.

Spring Music Fest is scheduled with doors opening at 1 p.m. Saturday and the event starting at 2 p.m., Southside Recreation Center, 604 S. Oak St. Admission: $2.
