Food scores for Lowndes County
The following food service establishments were inspected by the Food Service Division, Lowndes County Health Department on the dates indicated. The Division scores each facility on a 100 percentile scale to determine the corresponding letter grade. An explanation of the letter grade system is available below. The inspection report is required to be posted within fifteen feet of the primary door for all establishments and at drive-thru windows for establishments providing them.
Letter Grade System
A The grade “A” means food safety excellence and is applied to numerical score of 90 to 100.
B The letter grade “B” means satisfactory compliance and is applied to numerical score of 80 to 89.
C The letter grade “C” means marginal compliance and is applied to numerical score of 70 to 79.
U The letter grade “U” means unsatisfactory compliance and is applied to numerical score of 69 or less.
