During the event, attendees will learn how to taste, purchase and serve wine, while enjoying gourmet hors d’ oeuvres. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Quail Branch Lodge in Lake Park. The deadline for $50 admission tickets for the event was May 4. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Humane Society of Valdosta/Lowndes County. The coordinators of the wine tasting expressed special thanks to Republic National Distributing Company and Covington’s Dining & Catering.
