Christine Rose, noted author, lecturer, and professional genealogist, will provide an all-day seminar for the Huxford Genealogical Society, June 27, in the auditorium at the Municipal Complex in Homerville.
She is a certified genealogist, certified genealogical lecturer, and fellow, American Society of Genealogists. Her lecturing experience includes national conferences (National Genealogical Society, Federation of Genealogical Societies and GenTech), as well as regional and local seminars.
Rose will conduct four lectures during the day. Topics are Addicted to Courthouses; Estates: A Gold Mine; Genealogical Proof Standard: Building a Solid Case; Solving the Problem in 25 Hours or Less.
There will be a question-and-answer period after each lecture. Books written by Rose will also be available for purchase.
Sign-in and registration for door prizes will begin at 8 a.m. with the first lecture beginning at 9 a.m. There will be a break for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. Cost of the seminar is $25 for members and $30 for non-members.
