STATENVILLE — The Echols County Historical Society will present its “Old-Times” Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Statenville.
There is no admission charge.
Chicken and rice plates will be sold from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for $6. There will also be homemade ice cream, sausage biscuits and sausage dogs, collard greens, fried corn dodgers and fried pork skins.
The bake shop will feature cakes, candies, breads, pies and jellies.
Activities include a flea market, a silent auction, arts and crafts, antique displays and games for the children.
Musicians will perform from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Museum and Prescott-Prine House will be open.
