Hazel Inez Studivant, 96 of Ocilla passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 10, 1912, in Berrien County to the late Thomas Walter and Amanda Jane Blount Lindsey. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was the widow of George W. Studivant, who died in 1956.

She is survived by two daughters, Maudine Young of Ocilla, Lucy Barnes, Enigma; one son, Earl Studivant, Jacksonville, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, George W. Studivant Jr. and two daughters, Sandra Rowe and Hazel Fallin.

Graveside funeral service will be held today, April 12, 2008, at 4 p.m. in Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Ray officiating. — Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville
