The Berrien County Humane Society, Inc. will host a “Spring Fling” fund-raiser at Cadillac Ranch on Saturday, March 22.
This will be a day packed with fun for the entire family including an egg hunt for the children, a Beef Cook-Off Competition, a Classic Car Show, Bingo, a “Duck Derby,” lots of food, live music will be provided by “Gray Horse” from Tifton, playing a mix of classic rock, country, 50’s & 60’s and much more.
Anyone interested in competing in the beef cook-off competition should contact Cindy Watson at Cadillac Ranch 686-3216 for information.
Adult admission is $5 with free admission for children under 10 years of age.
All proceeds from the event will help pay for the new roof over the dog runs at the Berrien County Humane Society and help to fund the spay and neuter program in Berrien.
The Berrien County Humane Society, Inc. is a non-profit corporation and a qualified 501(c)(3). The Berrien County Humane Society receives no city, county or state funding and operates completely by donations, volunteers and fundraising events.
Upon completion of the new facility, the Berrien County Humane Society will operate as a “No-kill” animal shelter. Their goal is to assist the City Animal Shelter and the County Animal Shelter by helping to increase adoptions, both locally and through placement of cats and dogs with licensed Animal Rescue Groups across the country.
