ATLANTA (AP) — Police say armed robbers shot and killed a worker at a bar in Atlanta’s Grant Park neighborhood after he had given them money.

Officer Eric Schwartz of the Atlanta Police Department says 27-year-old John Henderson died at Grady Memorial Hospital just after 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say four young men threw a heavy object through the glass front door of Standard Food and Spirits around 4:15 a.m and took a male employee and a female employee into the business office.

Police say the female worker was able to hide in a cabinet when the robbers weren’t watching. The robbers shot the male worker in the head and legs.

No arrests had been made by midday Wednesday.
