Bev Henderson presented the Partnership for Health with a $2,000 check from the Doug Henderson III Memorial Scholarship Fund. The donation will be divided between the Partnership Cancer Fund and the Partnership Health Center, a free medical clinic for the working, uninsured of Lowndes County. The Doug Henderson III Memorial Scholarship Fund provides funding to local charitable organizations and scholarships for students in Lowndes County. This fund was started in remembrance of Bev Henderson's son, Doug, who passed away with cancer in 2003. For more information about the Partnership for Health, log on to www.lcpfh.org or call 229-245-0020 ext. 3.
