Lowndes County and City of Valdosta officials, family members of submariners of the USS Georgia and local citizens have their photo made Monday with the official Georgia flag of the submarine USS Georgia on the Lowndes County Courthouse steps. The official Georgia flag will be presented to the USS Georgia during the Return to Service ceremony held later this month at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base in Kings Bay.
