• Two men, different paths

Valdosta recently lost a faithful dedicated policeman. He attended church, he served his community well, he was a faithful husband and father, and will be missed. Commander Bill Butler was a hero to many.
Then we have ‘smiling’ Keller Wilcox who graces the same paper. He is finally paroled. He served 24 years for killing someone, then concealing it for eight years. After many years in prison he finally admits he killed her. Money got him paroled, not good behavior.
It is ironic both men were in the paper on Saturday with such marked differences they have made in lives. Keller should have been reduced to the back page. I know the family of Hellen Griffin Hanks must hate that smirk on his face.
