Published August 07, 2009 07:53 pm - Car crushed in storm A car was crushed and a house damaged by a tree that fell Friday at 905 Blanton Street during a brief but heavy storm that moved through the area. No injuries were reported. There were many reports Friday around Valdosta and Remerton of downed power lines and fallen limbs in the wake of the storm.
