A tractor pulling a wagon filled with people travels down the road toward Lake Park from Echols County in the antique tractor and wagon caravan.

Matthew Harris, 11, drives his tractor Thursday in the antique tractor and wagon caravan, kicking off the Alapahoochee Historic and Farm Heritage Days in Echols County. The group traveled from festival grounds at 1424 Culpepper Road in Statenville to Lake Park and back. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, those interested in agriculture, area heritage and Echols County are welcome to attend.
