VALDOSTA — Two of the most revealing exhibits each year at the Valdosta State University Fine Art Gallery are the fall and spring senior art shows.

In these shows, graduating seniors share what they have learned during their time in VSU Art classes. They demonstrate how much they’ve grown in their years from new freshmen to graduating seniors.

On Saturday, several graduating VSU art seniors opened an exhibit of their works. The show has something for everyone representing something from all of the graduating seniors.

These seniors are Kimberly Bicknese, Fania Braaf, Hayley Brannen, Galen Coles, Zella Campbell, Kristin DeShazo, Sarah Hamman, Zack John, Daniel Keefe, Jamal Peterson, Tayler Ruppel, Abbey Spacil, Megan Spann, Jordan Steele, Eric Sturgill, Allie Threlkeld, Allison White.

These artists represent a cross-section of styles and attitudes as well as varying degrees of skills. They find themselves at home in a multitude of media: photography, drawings, paintings, graphic arts, ceramics, sculpture, etc.

If you want a glimpse of what’s happening in VSU Art, this is a show to attend.
