Valdosta Police Department
Sunday
• At 1:40 a.m., police stopped Reco Terrell Morris, 36, of Valdosta, in the 2300 block of Jaycee Shack Road and arrested him on charges of accident hit and run, DUI and other traffic violations, reports said.
• At 7:44 a.m., police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 200 block of Wisenbaker Lane. They arrested Aaron Lewis Green, 55, of Valdosta, on a charge of aggravated assault with a weapon after a victim told police that Green threatened them with a knife, police reports said.
Saturday
• At just past midnight, police stopped Paul Tan Truong, 30, of Valdosta, in the 100 block of North Patterson Street and arrested Truong on a charge of accident hit and run, reports said.
• At 1:28 a.m., police stopped Daniel Wayne Brown, 22, of Lake Park, in the 1800 block of North Ashley Street and arrested him on charges of DUI and drivers license violation, reports said.
• At 4:23 p.m., police responded to a store on Inner Perimeter Road and arrested Jannada Wing, 17, and Jarell Wing, 18, both of Valdosta, each on a charge of shoplifting, reports said.
• At 11 p.m., police responded to a report of noise and loud music at an apartment at 1700 Williams Street. The occupants were issued a city ordinance violation, reports said.
Friday
• At 12:51 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at Eddie’s and Bettie’s store at 731 S. Lee St. A witness told police that an unknown suspect entered the store and forced them to open cash drawers and took the money, reports said.
