Woman jailed for kissing boyfriend with life sentence

MUSKOGEE, Okla. — Moments after her boyfriend was sentenced to life in prison, an Oklahoma woman found herself in handcuffs too, after she kissed him as he was taken from the courtroom.

Tommy Lee Dean, Jr., 21, was sentenced Thursday to life in prison with the possibility of parole on felony first-degree murder charges. His girlfriend, 21-year-old Brea Sharell Glenn, was in the Muskogee County courtroom for the sentencing.

"As we were escorting him out of the courtroom, she came up and kissed him," said Muskogee County Sheriff Charles Pearson.

Glenn was arrested on charges of obstructing an officer. She was also booked on an outstanding warrant for failing to pay in misdemeanor larceny charges.

Dean will be 59 years old before he is eligible for parole.

Prosecutors said Dean was involved in an armed robbery that left 17-year-old Ryan Satterfield dead in November 2011. Five others have been found guilty or pleaded guilty to charges related to the slaying.

Details for this story were reported by The Muskogee (Okla.) Phoenix.
